My baby is 11 month old his weight is 8 kg and body built is very thin what can I give him to gain weight any weight gain medicine or hunger drops will you advice

A. Namaste Mom Babies who are full term born are expected to almost double their birth weight by the age of 4 to 6 months & later triple by the age of 1, Give the baby now almost nearing to family foods now soft consistency foods can be given include foods such as ghee rice roti dal panner milk in cooked form such as kheer or porridge dry fruits nuts and seeds egg yolk chicken if preferred

These hunger drops are not advisable to be given to the child if your child is not having proper food or feeding at salt and spices into the food in fact from the age of nine months onwards we recommended to start giving all the foods whatever is being traditionally made at your home that’s the best that you can offer for the growth of your child
