Q.
My baby is 11 month old and his poop is at times very hard and he struggles alot while pooping. can you please advise ?

Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnishan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggefsted by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

A lot of time the Sims can possibly happen when a child is suffering with constipation and dehydration at the same time so basically dehydration can lead to constipation and sometimes really very hard so you can definitely try giving good amount of liquid and proteins to the child on an every day basis and fibre rich diet as wellWrite Your Answer Here
