Q.
my baby is 10 days old.. after feeding, he has hiccups.. is it normal ? is there anything which can be done to prevent this?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear mum, hiccups are normal, do not worry. It is caused by the swallowing of air while feeding. It resolves on its own after some time. Burp baby after every feed.

Burp well after every feeding
It happens sometime as air go inside while feeding or while laughing
Give adequate feeding
Wash your hands often before touching your baby
Give ultra D3 drops and calcium supplements
