my baby is 1 yr 4 months old. her head nd body is hot nd abnormal temparature I have given her parasetamol syrup. what else can I do for her recovery

A. calpol syrup 120mg 2.5ml after every 7 hours if there is fever

A. play with your baby give them more love and care. Hydrate your baby in regular intervals

A. Fever is a reaction of the body to different pyrogens released during any Infection. Usually temp more than 99 F is taken as fever . Mostly in children fever is because of viral infections like flu or RSV where the fever is there for 4-5 days but may persist even upto 2 weeks . Initially antipyretic like paracetamol is given in a dose of 15 mg / kg/ dose. Can be repeated after 4-6 hrs if needed .other medicine like mefenamic acid ibuprofen can alsogd be given . Lukewarm sponge bath can be given as home remedy to decrease fever. Adequate fluid intake is also beneficial. Urine output monitoring is necessary to avoid dehydration .

A. If the temperature is more than 10 1°F currently you can go ahead we doing Thande Paani Ki Patti on to the body of the child and specially for head that’s going to be really quite helpful for you to go ahead with that’s what you can do right nowWrite Your Answer Here
