Q.

my baby is 1 yr 3 month ..he is having cough and cold with no fever from 7 days there is nasal and chest congestion too..as chest sound like khar khar..when breath.. doc advise me antibiotics and levolin nebulizer for 7days and budespide nebulizer for 1 month..but is it safe to give nebulizer for 1 month daily...will it not harm my baby...very confused and afraid of exposing nebulizer for so long...what should I do...any suggestions

A. Usually appetisers are suggested but that’s for like five days to a week depending upon the congestion and severity of the situation but one month is actually too high does the medicine usually are suggested mild amount of steroids into them which is questionable so nebulising as per Dr for the time being in mean along with it you should take some oil add some salt into that warm the oil and massage the chest back and throat of the child and you should do hot compress and certain that will help
