Q.

my baby is 1 yr 20 days can i give buffalo milk or cow milk to my baby she is not gaining weight n my milk is not sufficient for her so pls any one tellme

A. Hello mom cows milk is quite similar to mothers milk and it can be preferred if not then Buffalo milk which is slightly could be difficult to digest initially . Also solids and regular foods made at home for the family can be given as well . Such as dry fruits and nuts , dals , channa , rajma etc , panner , ghee , soya , sago , rice , stuff paranthas or roti etc , eggs

A. Buffalo milk is a rich source of calcium which is essential for the development of the bones. Children need calcium for their overall growth and to develop strength and height. Hence, as a source of calcium, buffalo milk is better for children above one year of age.
