Q.
my baby is 1 year nd 1 month old. she fell down nd her back side head where hitten she has a bulk in her back head what I suppose to do.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol. Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it can lead to some chronic manifestattions otccasigonally . Also teeth injury should be rule out in any such case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .

Play just have to monitor the behaviour of your child for a minimum of 24 to 48 hours if you see any abnormality in the behaviour or anything that you believe is abnormal for the child to be him then it would be important for you to immediately get a check with your paediatricianWrite Your Answer Here
