Q.

My baby is 1 year 4 months, our whole family tested positive for covid. Baby is also having fever, cold and cough. What medication have to be taken? We can’t visit a paediatrician as we are in isolation. Please help

A. Give steam inhalations 4 to 5 times a day for cold and cough, use baby vicks, use nasal drops for nasal block. Use paracetamol 12p mg 5 ml ifor fever and repeat every 4 hours if required. and give 1.5 ml cetrizin syp 2 times a day for cough n cold If not improvement and accompanied by other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or breathlessness or dullness, poor intake consult your paediatrician asap.

A. hello a video consultation with your regular paediatrician or any other is good option .. so you can explain the symptoms better.. forever paracetamol is fine and dosage of the medicine depends on baby weight and please talk with your paediatrician
