Q.

my baby is 1 year 4 months old now but she is not gaining wait from last 8 months. her weight at 8th month is 8.5 kg and at now she has same weight. All other activities of her are normal.

A. weigth should triple the birth weight by 1 year of age Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it give milk shake with dry fruit powder for weight gain get deworming done and give iron supplements

A. u can add more protein and nutritions in her foods to increase her weight. eg. Nachni - u can add this nachni powder in her daily home made roti. fruits instead of juice. different leafy vegetables and its soup

A. Hi mom If ur baby is active and playful then no need to worry about weight much. Give all that you cook for ur family. Add some of the weight gaining food like egg ghee dry fruits,dairy products like paneer curd cheese,banana shake potatoes rice avocado ragi chicken etc in ur baby diet for weight gain
