Q.

My baby is 1 year 4 months old and till now she has only 6 teeth ... 4 in upper row and 2 in lower part . Does her teething process is delayed?? What should I do to deal with it ?? #AskTheExpert

A. Babies are usually born with 20 baby teeth (also known as primary teeth). They start to come through the gums at about 6 months of age. This process is called teething. By the time your baby is 2 to 3 years old, all their teeth will usually have appeared.
