my baby is 1 month old i was having low milk supply , i started taking lactonic granules and now my breast are getting engorged and painful... should i stop taking lactonic granules and i m giving formula after each breastfeed session as my baby cries even i breastfeed him for 3-4 hrs kindly suggest treatment for engorged breast

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. it is better to continue one breast at a time for the baby to have sufficient breast milk supply if there is pain we can put hot fomentation and take paracetamol tablet
