My baby is 1 month old. He is crying a lot nd making ehhh sounds to pass stool. But he is not passing. Whenever he wakes from sleep he is trying to pass nd crying but not passing stool. Last he went Sunday morning.

A. straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age. sometimes this can continue for one year xof age also. it usually occurs due to the distention of the urinary bladder and rectum of the child. the sensation is new for the child that's why the child is cryingx if you feel that the crying is more than normal you should visit a pediatrician for examination.
