Q.

My baby is 1 month and 5 days old. Today she drank milk and an hour later was crying of hunger, but before feeding her she puked approx 5 ml of milk and was still crying of hunger. Is puking normal or is it matter of concern?

A. Hello dear parent! Occasional spits after feeding is normal in small infants. Can be due to acid reflux. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand for every 2 hours. Burp your baby after every feed. If there is any discomfort in your child then consult your child’s doctor for further assistance. Good luck and take care.
