My baby is 1 month 7 days old. When she was born her skin was fair with a pinkish tone. Three days after birth she developed neonatal jaundice and received phototherapy for 3 days after that i noticed that her skin became draker why did this happen

See it is the nature of the skin to change its colour for First 6 to 8 months and eventually it is going to settle down as per the genetics of the child has nothing to do with the child being in phototherapy it is just a misconception that the parents have
