Q.

My baby is 1 month 20 days old and still I can see mild jaundice on his face and eyes. I am exclusively breastfeeding my baby. How long does jaundice persist or at what time should I need to see the doctor?

A. Jaundice usually does not stay for this long and also after discharge from the hospital the doctor suggested to keep your child into indirect sunlight 30 to 40 minutes every minute that has been better absorption of vitamin D and reduce jaundice level accordingly so if you feel that there is a problem please get in touch with your Dr
