Q.

My baby is 1 and half month, he was born at 36 weeks. Was giving aptamil preterm along with breastfeeding. Switched to aptamil gold stage 1 now as suggested by paed by he is not passing stools like before, might be constipated. Is it because of the change in formula? Should I change the formula?

A. Formula or breastfeeding either of the two whatever you give can create constipation so just only important thing is that you should not worry about it if the child is taking feeds properly in the urine output is good so then that is not a problem but in case of discomfort you can go for putting a suppository into the anal region of the child
