Q.

My baby is 1.5yrs old he became very lean and not at all eating any food.Give me some healthy food tips for weight gain.

A. Dear mum, for weight gain, you should give a homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. Give at least 500 ml of milk every day, this should include milk products like curd, paneer, cheese and breast milk. Breastfeed till 2 years. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add nuts like almonds to baby’s food. Add ghee to baby’s food.
