Q.

my baby have gas problem and Dr suggested flatuna syrup 0.3 ml for 3 times a week..she is producing 7 to 8 farts also..is this normal..how to cure?

A. farting is common in newborn, A baby’s digestive tract is immature and still growing and so it becomes difficult for the baby to cope with trapped air bubbles and gas while feeding. One way to help your baby in this situation is to switch between breasts  and burp well after every feeding

A. she is formula feeded...can you suggest how to feed and position of bootle so that gas will not be swallowed by baby...any more suggestions regarding gas intake

A. gas issue in the new borns and young babies are normal.. give cycling massage of baby legs circular massage of tummy area, give tummy time. use Babyhug indigestion and colic easy tummy roll on.. take care..
