Q.

my baby has pustula in anal region ,shown to doctor ,given antibiotic and t bac ointment 15 days ago.pus oozed out in one pustula but another small one present still.again showed doctor , prescribed same ointment to continue and cleaned the area .but now pus is recurring again in larger pustula seen earlier and small pustula not ruptured yet.what to do ? baby has no pain or fever but farts a lot

A. Hello! Continue keeping the area asking and dry as possible, but avoid aggressive scrubbing. Monitor for any new symptoms or if the area becomes painful to touch. Since the issue is recurring, despite the prescribed treatment you might as well go for a second opinion to rule out complications
