Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. It is very common that children less than 6 months of age may not pass stool for sometime 10 days alsov.
Slight discomfort as well as straining while passing urine and stool is also normal.
You have to just take care of colic pain as well as gas in the abdomen and do not worryf about the frequency of the stool if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid.
POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl3 years agoA. As the only food infants take is either breastmilk or formuka milk, it gets digested easily and comes out in the form of urine or sweat. Therefore, even if ge dies not pass stool for 7-8 days, it will be fine. As long as he us urinating regularly and is active, there is no need to be worried as it is common in babies.
