Q.

my baby has fever from the evening before yesterday,my nephew has developed fever and hand foot mouth disease and my baby was in touch of him ,I hv given Acelphenac and paracetamol to my baby for 4th times in the.quantity of 4 ml ,but the fever is still now ,what should I do now ?

A. Hand foot mouth disease is viral in origin and mostly symptomatic treatment is required because it is a self limiting disease and here fever come and small eruptions may be seen in hands foot face and other parts of the body along with oral ulcerations so give plenty of liquids to maintain proper hydragition and maintain a good hygiene . Some multivitamin syrup along with antihistamine can be given . For oral ulcer dologel can be applied locally
