Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is very common that during the illness the child will not take food.
give small amount of easily digestible food to the child
many times if you take the child in garden or open area that will cheer up the child and that might improve the appetite
give regular water and fluids to the child to improve hydration because that will also improve appetitee
you can give fruitss as well as juices from the fruits which again acts as appetizer
during illness if the child takes 60% to 70% of the diet then also it's fine
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Your toddler's refusal to eat is usually temporary. As long as your child continues to gain weight and inches and remains healthy (aside from the usual colds) — and as long as her weekly total intake seems sufficient (don't look at each day in a vacuum) — there's little reason for concern. Don't take it personally.
