Q.
My baby has completed vaccination for 6th month. But after few hours I see baby crying and I feel his thigh is swollen. Any medication to suggest?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can applyf ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsidesf in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
