Q.

my baby has been cranky since 2 days.. he gets up in middle of the night and starts crying.. I am not sure if it's teething that is troubling him. his intake of food has also dropped.

A. He will be 2 years old next month. I have resumed the work since November, but the last week has been missing me more. Also, on Saturday I had to go to work which I feel he could not take it.. as he kept on crying mumma office.. and was waiting for me all the while. he has got cold and cough since Friday and a light fever since Friday night. is the thought of me going to work is troubling him?

A. baby may cry usually for the reason like gastric pain which can be relieved by giving collicaid drops or gastica drops. usually in children below 6 month of age especially those who are fed on formula milk have more gastric colic.proper burping after feeding is must. other reasons could be nose blockage, diaper rash and may be more like hunger or sleep, any fear or stubbornness ,so according!ffly may be assekssed and taken care of .If the crying behaviour doesnot resolve,visit your doctor.
