Q.
my baby has 2 years and 9 months old she suffers from fever and cough cold also , whenever she cough it went minimum 10 minutes and the fever came little little bit, after 6 o clock pm the fever is highly 100 r 102 am went to hospital and have medicine and injection but the fever is not gone and tha cough also she breath like wheezing patient what can I do pls help me

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. for fever as well as pain kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature.
also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give paracetamol.
higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation.
after giving fever medicines you can wait for maximum 3 days and then meet your doctor if it is not improving. keep the child in cool atmosphere
kindly give syrup allegra 3.5 ml twice daily and syrup asthalin 5 ml twice daily.d
give nasal saline drops in the nasal cavity every 3 hourly and give indirect steam inhalation. if the child doesn't improve in next two and a hadlf days then kindly meet your doctor and give warm water to drink.
give home remedies like tulsi ginger honey and turmeric with milk.
