my baby had first tripple vaccine on11 dec. bt after 9 days ,there was pus at injection site we drain it bt after 1 day, this place again filled with pus, she having small lump over there and place is blackish red(painless)..is it harmful to her??and what is reason of getting pus?

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 1 month old now sometimes due to wrong injection techniques small pus filled abscess can be formed you need to get an oral antibiotics and give a pain killer medicine like paracteamol

Hello ma’am if puss He is still there that means there is some infection over there I would advise you to consult your doctor ones regarding the same and if it is only a lump then you can start doing cold punch to eat or maybe keep an ice cube want to eat on a regular basis to settle down but still would advise you to consult your doctor ones
