Q.

my baby got vaccine on Wednesday, she got swelling and pain on right thigh since Wednesday evng and fever too. still it is paining and temperature is also not normal, previous times she had only one day pain and fever but now it is continuing, how many days it will continue after vaccination, is it normal ? pls suggest any medication for swelling and fever, thank you

A. Thermophob ointment is a medical ointment that you can apply after every vaccination prior to that keep some ice cube or cold pack on the area to subside swelling and for fever you can give regular paracetamol every six hours and if the fever doesn’t subside maximum by the time of 72 hours then you need to consult your doctor
