Q.

my baby got 6 week vaccination and after vaccine there is a lump on that side. now it's more than a week. I'm rubing ice also but getting no result so can i apply baby rub vicks on that lump.

A. Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing any pain or other symptoms nothing to worry. Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fomentation locally and paracetamol can be given for fever or pain. Thrombophobe ointment can be applied in acute pain and swelling .this is Normal and you should not be worried as far this but still it would be chubetter to get a proper guidance by your doctor regarding any such kind of query so that anything should not be missed . so a proper examination can be done just to rule out any other possibility ...
