Q.
my baby girl weight is 10 kg she is 5 month 10days old.. I give only breastfeeding to her.. no other solids, no cow milk, no water.. this weight gain is normal ?

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. hi ye If your breast feeding your baby then continue to breastfeed at regular intervals and there is no need to give anything else apart from mother milk or formula milk to baby till he complete 6months of age as it is complete food that takes care of hydration as well as nutrition. After 6 month you can gradually start weaning with homemade easy to digest food items like rice porridge ragi porridge mashed fruits apple Puree, mashed banana chiku etc. But whatever you are introducing should be introduced gradually with a small amount

Hi mommy Give solid food after six months Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm Do tummy time and cycyling movement of legs regularly Maintain hydration Maintain hygiene Try to keep head up position while feeding
