Q.
My baby girl is only 3.5 months old. Last two days she is not passing stool & constipation problem. We feel this happened with her after taking pulse polio drop. Please suggest us the remedy.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. not related to polio vaccine The problem of constipation will decrease with proper diet modification that is plenty of water and fibre diet and try to give more papaya oats and fennel seeds water to the child. You may have to give a course of constipation medicine to the child to stabilize the child from the pain. Constipation usually decreases with increasing age of the child and medicines give only symptomatic relief

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom constipation is common in breastfeed babies. Babies can go without poop for 5-6 days altogether and even more. Do cycling exercise of legs and lift the legs and gently press across the tummy for bowel movement
