Q.
my baby girl is of 2.7 years old still using diapers day and night continuously..will it be a problem? my mother is not allowing me to discontinue diapers to my child please suggest..

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 8 yr old boy2 years agoA. after the age of 1 and 1/2 years of age you can plan to decrease the diaper usage for the child. you have to start giving diaper free time every few hours which will develop a new habit of remaining diaper free. at the same time you can start using cotton underwear for the child so that the child feels thdat the child is wearing a type of diaper. gradually you can reduce the usage of diaper to only night time as soon as the child is able to tell about urine and stool and pottyx training is developed you can stop using diaper
