Q.
my baby girl is of 2.5 years old she got injured by sharp table edge ..is that scar is permanent? pediatric used some join solution to combine skin . Image is attached.

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. yes nowadays glue is being used to join the separated skin instead of taking stitches. so it's totally fine and you just need to maintain proper hygiene over the area. You can use maderma scar cream regularly for about 2 to 3 months which will help reduce the scar marks in babies As with growing age the scar reduces itself and the cream also is more effective

I think it is going to settle down over the period but just to be on the safer side continue with if your doctor is advised with anything and also apply a mixture of coconut oil and Kapoor regularly onto the affected area that’s going to be quite helpful for your child
