Q.

my baby girl is going to be completed 5 months recently check the weight of my baby so that is 5.3 kg so this weight is normal or my baby is underweight. the birthweight of my baby is 3 kg. so what should I do

A. ya the wt of your child is on the lower side you can now start weaning Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the initial stage you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some purie of carrot potato and some other foods which can be given are porridge of suji sabudana which can be prepared in breast milk or formula milk. initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be gradually increased up till at least three meals in a day

A. See the birth weight was three kgs of the current weight seems fine by completing the age of six months if your child is about six kgs or more than six kgs that means your child is going on growing up in terms of birth weight and the average weight every monthWrite Your Answer Here
