Q.

My baby girl is almost one month old and she has hiccups after every feed. It lasts for 5-7 minutes and goes away.I keep her upright after every feed and burp her but still she has the hiccups which makes it hard for us to get her to sleep at times. Is it normal? #asktheexperts

A. Namaste Mom It is actually not much to worry it is normal and does not cause any harm as such to the baby you may probably try to elevate their head a little with help of your palms while feeding , and this way the flow of feed would be well and easy

A. Hiccups are completely normal and common to be seen in this age it starts and stops on its own but it does not create any negative impact it is something which is going to be discomforting for the child but it gets eventually on its own so there is nothing to be worried in that
