Q.

my baby girl is 8 months and 17 days old,her weight is 6.8 kgs and her height is 64.7 cms,is it normal for her age?is there any need to concern about her weight or height? She is a preterm baby,she was born in 35 weeks. do I need to visit any pediatrician about it?

A. hi your baby is 8 months old now at this age her weight should be atleast 4.5-5 kg above her birth weight.her height is slightly on lower side aswell.considering she was 4 weeks prematurely born you need to increase nutrition of your baby

A. Hello ma’am See how it is completely on the genetics so if your child is going to be tall or something that will be totally onto the genetics of the parents apart from that weight is a little less as per the age so would advise you to consult a nutritionist and go for a proper diet plan for your child in order to have a proper meeting and since your child is preterm born it could be a possibility that your child is getting slow weight because of that
