A. Your baby girl's weight (6.1 kg) and height (64 cm) at 8 months and 20 days are lower than the average for her age. Generally, an 8 to 9-month-old girl weighs around 7-9 kg and has a height of 67-72 cm. However, every baby grows at their own pace. If she is active, feeding well, and meeting developmental milestones, there may not be a major concern. You can focus on nutritious weight-gaining foods like mashed banana, avocado, sweet potato, ghee, dal, paneer, and dry fruit powder. If her weight gain remains slow, consult a pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues.
