Q.

my baby girl is 8 month old..her birth weight is 2.2 kg...now she is 5 kg only...how can I gain my babies weight..plz suggest

A. it is important for you to know that the weight of the child depends upon the genetic patterns and by that pattern only the weight gain in child is seen. it also depends upon the diet the child is taking. so it is advisable that you should meet the doctor who will tell you whether there is anything to worry or not and whether the child requires any health supplements. the child should be given differecnt flavours and recipes made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily in small amount. you caxn add ghee groundnuts dryfruits in the diet and this will help in improving the weight of the child. you can go through many recipes for children in different flavour and taste for your child on firstcry

A. Hi mom Give freshly prepared homemade food to your baby. Include ghee dry fruits powder banana potatoes rice avocado ragi sweet potato etc in ur baby diet for weight gain. Take care and all the best
