After 6 months, baby needs more nutrition for healthy growth and development and proper weight gain. Therefore, include all types of foods like lentil puree, mashed banana, apple, carrot and pear puree, mixed vegetable soup, khichdi, ragi and sooji porridge, home made cerelac, etc.
