Q.

My baby girl is 7 month and 10 days old. she was a IUGR baby her birth weight was 1.7 and now her birth is 6.2, but she looks so small and thin everyone said that she is not gaining much weight and height. i want ask that is there any chance that IUGR baby can be dwarf or small height..

A. Look first of all you have to understand that your child is having an issue of IUGR in this a little bit of weight gain and growth can be little slow for initial year or so and honestly telling you as per the details that you have mentioned the child is having a wait that you are mentioning as per the age it’s not a problem see the child is going to take its own growth over the period with the diet that you follow and how the child is accepting the food for that I would just say not to pay attention to what people have to say they do not understand the complexities of a situation they just know how to comment so don’t bother about it and in case of any doubt further for how do you need to proceed with the growth kind of food you need to give or any health supplement or tonic you need to start with please visit your paediatrician or a nutritionist for that
