Q.

my baby girl is 6 months and 4 days old, her weight is 6.5 kg from 5 month, Why she is not gaining weight? I have started semisolid from this week.

A. if child is not gaining proper weight you need to consult your doctor to rule out the cause and most of the time it could be because of nutritionreal deficiencies like nutritional anemia and some other factors like malabsorptiofn any chronic disease like congenital heart disease or some chronic infection specially urine infection or worm infestation should be checked if required .

Along with semisolid food do you go ahead with giving formula feeding or don’t pasteurised milk for the child because of the weight of the child has been stagnant for a month that means your breastfeeding is not helping your child to gain appropriate weight according to the ageWrite Your Answer Here
