Q.

my baby girl is 4 months 9 days .Often after having milk and burping she get hiccups.can I give half small spoon water to her .her rice eating ceremony of annaprashan as we say is over.please suggest

A. no don't give any additional water. it's very common for newborns to have hiccups up to the age of 6 months. It will be fine within 15 mins..but if you want you can give neopeptine digestive liquid ..it helps a lot.

A. Hiccups in babies after feeding are quite common and usually harmless. They can occur due to: 1. Swallowing air while feeding 2. Eating too quickly or gulping milk 3. Gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) 4. Overstimulation or excitement 5. Food intolerance or sensitivity Burping: Give your baby a good burp to release trapped air
