Q.

my baby girl is 3 months old...she is playful all the time....not taking milk adequately....she is playing, taking little milk and sleeping and then getting up after 1 hr taking little milk, again playing and sleeping....is this normal....

A. yes you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent buurping . there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern. also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits

A. hi dear Three-month-old babies may start eating less than they did previously. Breastfed babies do get more efficient, so it's normal for your baby to feed in about half the time it took them to feed as a newborn. If you see all the signs that baby's getting enough to eat, it's perfectly normal.
