My baby girl born preterm at 32week was diagnosed wth thyroid at birth , she is 4.4 month old now. Doctors suggested we should by now slow down dose n stop medine. suddenly yesterday she had a spike in thyroid to doctors surprise. She caught an eye infection recently. doctor said let's test after two months again. and indicated either spike is due to infection and if not she has to be life long on medicine which is really worrying for me. please suggest is thyroid at birth not curable completely
