my baby eye swollen because of grass mosquito. can it happens because of mosquito?

A. Yes, a swollen eye in your baby can happen due to a mosquito bite, including from a grass mosquito. The skin around the eyes is very delicate, so even a small bite can cause noticeable swelling. It’s usually harmless and should reduce within a day or two. You can apply a cold compress gently to reduce swelling and use baby-safe anti-itch cream if advised by your doctor. However, if the swelling worsens, becomes red and warm, or your baby has a fever or trouble opening the eye, consult a pediatrician promptly to rule out infection.
