Q.

my baby don't able to suck milk directly from brest .....as I have flat nipple so I pump milk then I feed him bt due to immense pain in nipple I gave formula milk last day to my baby ....bt the last day he don't pass stool ....I'm worried till now he is not able to pass the stool...plzz help me

A. hi yes it is normal among formulafed babies to get constipation.. mam,if possible please offer breastfeeding . you may use nipple shield for time being. give massage to your child everyday. give massage on stomach in clockwise direction with firm hands. move your child legs in cycling motions. it will help to cure constipation

Q. Hi, my baby is one month old. I have flat nipples, it was very difficult for the baby to suck. I started giving formula milk as I couldn't feed him to his full diet. Then I started using breast pump, and feeding him breastmilk through bottle. It helped to better shape my nipple. But he got so used to the bottle that he stopped trying to suck directly.
