A. also if your baby likes curd. try feeding paneer to her.. fry it on a tawa with desi ghee and put whatever salt masalas you put on her curd. or sprinkle the paneer in her curd rice ...
another thing you can do is .. sprinkle almond cashew or any other dry fruit powder in her curd rice . start with one dry fruit and then rope in others

A. your baby's weight falls within the ideal range for 16 month olds. my baby is the same age and I can't put him in a high chair either. try to put him in his cycle or pram while feeding her if she does stay you can feed her easily. if not, then running around her can be the only option right now. maybe when she grows up she will like to sit on the high chair or any other place of her choosing. just don't force her.
regarding curd and rice.. both are excellent for your baby's health. make sure you set the curd at home. you can make her khichdi and give with curd. some other ideas for her nutrition if she is choosy -
1)try roasted makhanas with a little bit of chunky chaat masala. they are nutritionally dense and help children with teething too.
2)try giving her fruits and shakes
3)whenever you and family are having meals feed her a little bit of whatever you are eating. make your food less spicy and kids usually love to eat from your plate.
4) don't force anything upon her. kids have phases where they like or dislike something strongly
just try to look up new recipes and wait and see if she opens up to a new dish or food item and stick to it.
do try the makhanas. my boy has them even if he refuses everything else and he is a picky eater too
try giving her new things and changing her diet so she doesn't get bored with one rhin

A. Hi mom
The weight of ur baby is perfectly fine.
If ur baby is active and playful then no need to worry about weight much.
Give finger food as self feeding encourages eating.
Give food in colourful and attractive plates and in small portions.
Make food attractive and appealing that attracts baby toward food.
