A. If your baby is above 6 months old and refusing all solid foods, here are some steps to encourage eating: 1. Start with Small and Soft Foods ✅ Offer mashed banana, apple puree, dal ka pani, suji kheer, or rice cereal. ✅ Begin with one or two spoonfuls and increase gradually. 2. Create a Feeding Routine ✅ Try feeding at the same time daily so your baby develops a habit. ✅ Offer solids before breastfeeding, so the baby is slightly hungry. 3. Offer Finger Foods (For 8+ Months) ✅ If your baby refuses purees, try soft, bite-sized foods like boiled carrot, potato, or paneer pieces. 4. Avoid Force-Feeding ❌ If the baby resists, wait and try again later instead of forcing. ✅ Keep the atmosphere calm and positive. 5. Encourage Self-Feeding ✅ Let the baby explore food with hands, even if it's messy. ✅ Use a baby-friendly spoon for fun interaction. 6. Monitor Growth and Activity ✅ If your baby is active and gaining weight well, there’s no need to worry. ✅ But if weight gain is low or refusal continues for weeks, consult a pediatrician.
