Q.

my baby cries for sometime.. and suddenly stuck the breathe for few minutes.. there is no sound after that... my mom tap him by lying her shoulder. then he releases his breath.. this happened for 2 nd time... he is now 6 month... what will be the reason for this..is it dangerous issue? should I consult him or not?

A. baby is having breath holding spells which are common from y 5 months to 5 years in the baby do not allow the baby to cry it will subside generally

A. hi it might happen because of congestion. but it is better to visit your pediatrician for once who can give right guidance after examining your child. please avoid such situations. keep your child head slightly elevated while feeding and sleeping.
