Q.

My baby completed 10 months. She is able to stand by herself by holding on to some things. But she is not sitting on her own nor she is crawling (but she is creeping) .... Should we be worried fr not sitting on her own?

A. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support. After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it mahy take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it fcan cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.

A. Yes It’s high time your child should have sit independently by not a child is not sitting independently then you’ll have to get a check with your doctor if your child is not crawling but standing maybe your child will never crawl but your chair with straight start walking you know that’s a good thing anyways but I don’t want to tell you that you have to get a check with your doctor if your child is not sitting as of now
