Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application. they will persist for few weeks and then will go away if the problem continues beyond two weeks and isf increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluation.f some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergy, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) alsof for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.
